We had a fantastic time at Thought Bubble. It was our first excursion to the Leeds convention as Improper and we were made to feel very welcome by everyone we met. Lisa, the Thought Bubble organisers and the superb volunteer team did an amazing job, making a busy convention run smoothly while creating an energetic and friendly atmosphere.

Our free colour preview of Porcelain: A Gothic Fairy Tale seemed to go down a storm from the lovely feedback we received over the weekend and throughout last week. Thank you to everyone who stopped to chat with us about the project, and have mentioned it in tweets and posts, your support is greatly appreciated.

If you missed out on the chance to grab one at Thought Bubble, there may still be a few copies available from Page 45 (Nottingham), Travelling Man (Leeds, Manchester, Newcastle and York), Gosh! (London) and Orbital Comics (London), who are also taking pre-orders now for the indie release of the complete graphic novel in February.

Thank you to everyone who picked up copies of Butterfly Gate and the Dead Queen Detectives Omnibus: The II Edition too, as well as stopping to chat with us about Ben and Laura’s Night Post project.

Chris Wildgoose and Bevis Musson managed to fit in a bit of sketching at our table too, while we handed out Porcelain. Chris once again doing a free sketch of Hellboy for the first person who asked, and enjoying it so much he did a second!
