Improper Books is a comic and graphic novel imprint focusing on creator owned stories that have a touch of the fairy tale, the Gothic or the macabre.

It was formed in 2009 by Benjamin Read, Laura Trinder and Chris Wildgoose, when they began collaborating while working on the set of the film Warhouse.
