Thank you. We all had a fantastic time attending the Thought Bubble Comic Con in Leeds last weekend. Thanks to everyone that stopped at our table in New Dock Hall for a chat, to pick up our books, and to colour in pages from Knight & Dragon. Huge thanks to Lisa and all of the brilliant Thought Bubble team and volunteers for organising another incredible event.

If you couldn’t make Thought Bubble, limited UK indie editions of Butterfly Gate, by Benjamin Read and Chris Wildgoose, and Knight & Dragon, by Matt Gibbs and Bevis Musson, are still available from supporting comic shops.

Both books are available from Page 45 (Nottingham), Travelling Man (Leeds, Manchester, Newcastle and York), Gosh! (London), Orbital Comics (London), Chaos City Comics (St. Albans), Destination Venus (Harrogate), Paradox Comics (Poole), OK Comics (Leeds), and Gnash Comics (Ashburton).

We also gave out free previews of Briar, by Benjamin Read and Chris Wildgoose. Out in 2014, inspired by European myth and folklore, Briar is an episodic series of nested stories woven into the fabric of a ceaseless quest.

The supporting shops above may still have copies, but you can also download the free Briar preview here.

In addition, we were running a Knight & Dragon colouring table over the weekend, which proved hugely popular with all ages, and you can download the free Knight & Dragon colouring pack here.

It would be great to see your colouring. Please tweet us pictures @ImproperBooks or email them to press [at] improperbooks [dot] com (as long as the file size is 2MB or less).

Thanks again for a wonderful weekend, and we hope to see you next year.
